Courage Is Crucial

Have you ever wanted to do something but at the last minute decided not to because you were afraid of the outcome ? Have you allowed yourself to be talked out of that new job/house/extra schooling because you are unsure of how things will turn out ? Sometimes we can do a better job of sabotaging our dreams than all of our friends and family put together

The easiest thing to do in life is to exist at whatever level you are presently operating at. Change is something that is difficult for most people to embrace. To successfully do this requires the courage to step out of one's comfort zone into the unknown. This is a concept which is more than most can handle.

How can I make this assertion? Simple, most lead lives they are unhappy with. I see so many settling for less than they truly desire. They lack the courage to risk failure when they go after what they really want. This is something that society trains us to do. We are taught the "safe" route is the way to go. Sadly, it is also the path that leads to unhappiness.

If you are going to alter your life, it is going to take a great deal of courage. Changing requires a bit of risk taking. When you undertake something like this, you expose yourself to the ridicule of other people. Often, this comes from those who are closest to us. Those who have our "best interest" at heart are usually the ones who crush our dreams. They tell us to "be realistic" and get something that is safe.

Think, Act, Adjust

A lot is said about making a better life for yourself, following your hearts desire, making things happen in your life that you want to, but not much is said about how to achieve these things, how do we take a feeling, a thought, an idea and make it right for us ?

Here is a simple system for success in any area of life. Following these three steps will ensure you move forward in a consistent manner in the direction that you prefer. In the end, you will achieve what you desire in life.

Few people spend time thinking about what they truly want in life. Many are following the dreams that others set down for them. They made a decision to pursue a particular path at 17 or 18 and find themselves in the same profession decades later. Each day is justified by pointing to the fact that "I do alright at it". Never do they consider what truly inspires them.

Vision

To have a vision is something we need, the courage to act on that is also something you need
