Actions Not Words

How many times a day do you find yourself saying, " I will get to that later " and then finding later never comes ? Or saying you need to do such and such but never getting around to it ? All to often we can talk a good talk but fail to walk the walk as they say.

this article describes it better than I can

It is what you do, not what you say, that matters. Many can talk a good game. Few actually are able to do what they say. The percentage of the "doers" dwarfs the "talkers".

Action is the key to success. All the planning is wasted if not followed up by action. Those who are able to act tend to achieve their goals. Failure to act is what sabotages many from living their dream life.

I wrote a number of times how action is what takes something from the invisible world and makes it visible. An idea resides on the invisible plane. For us to enjoy success, this needs to transform itself in the material world. Action is the ingredient which makes that happen.

Everybody Has A Line

Everybody has a line or a phrase that they remember, something that sticks in their mind and they draw on it at various times during the day, when things are not as we want them to be or indeed when things are going great. I have posted this before but I find myself daily coming back to it and in particular two sections......

The mind runs and instills fear in the person. This is the mind's defense against uncertainty. Any conclusion it draws is negative, thus implenting fear into the equation.

There is a time to think and there is a time to act. Most people do more thinking than acting (I am not referring to being on a stage). They suffer from paralysis by analysis. Overthinking causes them to miss golden opportunities right in front of them. They are too busy waiting for the perfect time. There never is a perfect time. Take action and make the necessary adjustments as you progress. That is how the successful operate.

The world is full of risk. There is nothing in life that is totally risk free. Even the most basic of activities has the risk of catastrophe.

the whole article can be found at http://dennisharting.blogspot.com/2009/02/there-is-never-perfect-time.html

My advice to you is to find that phrase that means something to you and read it often, look at it and take courage from it, its the simple things that promote self worth and motivation
